Each guide is ready to hand out as-is. It includes the film’s narrative, a complete student assignment, the filmmaking fundamentals it teaches, what makes footage succeed, technical specs, safeguarding guidance, a grading rubric, and a suggested timeline.
- High School Edition — Grades 9–12 · a short film (around 30–60 seconds; no penalty for length, up to ~10 min).
- College Edition — undergraduate / advanced · a short film (around 60–120 seconds; no penalty for length, up to ~10 min) plus a short artist statement.
Working as an independent artist? The same blueprint doubles as a personal creative brief — pick either level and run with it.

The Mosaic Way is a feature-length experimental film that explores our shared humanity through the lives of ordinary people across cultures, countries, and generations, moving from one person’s perspective into the next to form a larger portrait of humanity. It’s built on the three pillars of The Mosaic Way — understanding who we are, examining what has shaped us, and discovering how we connect, influence, and lead. Each contributor adds one true moment, captured through the eyes of an individual and rooted in their corner of the world — shown, at its most powerful, from both the outside (what the world saw) and the inside (what it felt like).
