The Mosaic Way Films is making its first movie — an almost-wordless story about the inner lives we hide. There's no budget yet. There is a real director, a real vision, and a real shot at something festivals will want. Come help make it, and put your name on it.

What you get

We can't pay you yet. Here's what we can give you.

  • A real screen credit on a festival-bound film — for your reel, résumé, and portfolio.
  • Set experience & mentorship from Dr. Karissa Thomas — award-winning author and returning experimental filmmaker (NAACP ACT-SO Gold Medalist, HBO writing honoree, SUNY Purchase).
  • Footage of your work — actors leave with scenes; crew leave with material and references.
  • First call when we're funded — volunteers move to the front of the line for paid roles.
  • Something that matters — a film about human connection, made by people who chose to be there.
  • Real community — meals on shoot days, good people, and a story you'll be proud of.

The honest part: right now this is a passion project, and we can't pay. What we can offer is credit, experience, footage, mentorship, and the first call when the money comes. If that's a yes for you, we'd love to have you.
